Cohorts and Cohort Conversations
AIIM is proud to introduce Cohorts to the AI+IM Global Summit to provide you with peer-to-peer learning and support to transform your summit experience into action.
What Are Cohorts?
Cohorts are small, pre-assigned groups of like-minded participants designed to foster deeper learning, networking, and collaboration. They create a forum for meaningful discussions, helping you exchange ideas, refine learning objectives, and crowdsource solutions to industry-specific challenges.
“AIIM is proud to introduce Cohorts to the AI+IM Global Summit. We’re moving beyond theory, creating an event that delivers real-world solutions and lasting professional relationships. I invite you to join us and experience Cohorts for yourself.”

Frequently Asked Questions
What are Cohorts?
Cohorts are small, pre-assigned groups of like-minded participants that provide a forum and opportunity for members to connect and learn from each other.
How will cohorts be formed?
In March 2025, we will notify you of your cohort assignment and the name of your Cohort Leader. We recommend registering for the AI+IM Global Summit early to ensure you will have time to interact with your cohort before the event.
Why are Cohorts valuable?
Based on extensive research into event design and adult education, we have found that cohort-based education provides a richer learning experience for participants. You will receive peer and expert support throughout the Summit. Use your Cohort to help refine your understanding of learning objectives, discover new ideas, use as a sounding board, or to crowdsource your challenges. Cohorts create a more personalized learning experience by matching you with other participants who share your needs and interests, creating a more relevant and impactful experience. Your cohort will help you synthesize learnings at the end of the event to ensure you have a list of tangible takeaways and action items to bring back to your organization.
Who leads Cohorts?
Each cohort is led by a skilled facilitator who is also a subject matter expert in the intelligent information management industry. The facilitator will be joined by one of our sponsors who will serve as co-facilitator. Cohort Leaders will navigate your summit journey by leading cohort conversations, orienting you to the event, and introducing you to new contacts. Think of them as your concierge to the AI+IM Global Summit.
When will you meet?
You will have opportunities throughout the event to meet with your cohort and your cohort lead during networking breaks and evening receptions. The AI+IM Global Summit concludes on Day Three with two vital capstone conversations that capture the key learnings from the event. Each capstone conversation will be followed by Cohort Conversations where you and your cohort will dissect takeaways and share next steps, giving you a true game plan to take back to your organization. Cohorts may also meet virtually ahead of the summit and keep in touch after the event.
What will Cohorts discuss?
Cohorts will focus on practical, real-world applications of concepts. They will share takeaways from interactive sessions and workshops.
